Fundamentals

Everything you need to know about how Superteam Black works, what we offer, and our commitment to Solana founders.

General

Superteam Black is a part of the Superteam global network and is an invite-only founder success program for founders who have raised a minimum of $250K - $3M in pre-seed to seed funding. The program provides high-traction Solana teams with a bespoke program to help them achieve their major milestones. We help teams by a) extending their runway through our perks program, b) providing mentorship + connecting teams with our mentor network and c) assisting teams with their media and distribution.

No to both. The program is a public good for the Superteam community and we don’t provide upfront investment for an equity stake either. We focus on providing "operating leverage" like perks, operators, and distribution.

There is no "Demo Day" cliff. We work with you for as long as it takes to reach your next major milestone, typically through your next funding round or major milestone.

Colosseum is the entry point for new startups (0 to 1). Superteam Black is the scaling layer for teams that have already graduated from programs like Colosseum or Alliance and have real traction.

Eligibility & Application

You must have raised at least $250,000 (from angels or accelerators) OR show significant revenue/traction. We look for high-signal founders building exclusively on Solana.

No. However, this program is a benefit for the Superteam global network and members will take priority. If you aren't a member yet, your first step is building "proof of work" within the community.

We use rolling admissions. We accept the best teams the moment they are ready to scale, rather than waiting for a specific cohort date. Ideally, there’s about 25 teams at a time with a goal of working with 50 teams per year.

Resources & Perks

We provide over hundreds of thousands of dollars in credits. Examples: cloud providers, RPC nodes, smart contract audits, legal review, and UI/UX design.

Anh Tran (Lead): Previously leading Superteam APAC and has worked to help teams win hackathons and raise money globally.

Other mentors are leading operators from the Solana Foundation and core ecosystem members from the perk providers.

We provide warm intros to top-tier VCs, pitch coaching, and fast-track access to global Solana events.

Commitment & Logistics

No. The program is global and remote-first. However, we host IRL pop-up events at major Solana conferences like Breakpoint and Solana Summit.

We aren't a school or accelerator. There are no mandatory classes. We are an "on-demand" resource and we spend as much or as little time as you need to hit your milestones.

You remain a permanent member of the Black network, similar to the YC alumni network, with ongoing access to the founder community and distribution channels.
